Anatomy of the knee
Bones – The knee joint involves four bones: femur, tibia, fibula, and patella. They provide structural support and weight bearing.
Ligaments – The knee joint involves four ligaments: the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), posterior cruciate ligament (PCL), the medial collateral ligament (MCL), and lateral collateral ligament (LCL). They connect bones to one another and provide stability.
Tendons - The knee joint involves two major tendons: the quadriceps tendon and the patellar tendon connecting muscles to bones. Read more
